Lifestyle Vietnam 2013
The 2013 international fair on Vietnamese handicrafts, wood furniture, gifts and household utensils (Lifestyle Vietnam 2013) will take place from April 18-21 at the Tan Binh Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (Vietcraft) General Secretary Le Ba Ngoc said that the fair would display about 850 booths in eight categories – household decoration, handicrafts, interior and exterior decoration, household utensils, textile, gifts, personal accessories and toys.
It is expected that 2,000 importers will visit the fair.
Apart from businesses from regional countries such as Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia, the organizing board has received application forms from many major clients with revenues of more than US$100 million annually such as Oafks from Japan, Louts Direct from the UK, Interdesign from the US, Avenue from Australia, Haka Trading from the Netherlands and MFHK from Hong Kong-China.
Ngoc also said that design would be the 2013 fair’s theme and that visitors would see the latest designs in special areas at the fair.
Within the framework of the fair, the organizing board will launch symposiums on the handicraft markets in the US, Japan and the EU
